Stack's 2009 African American History Trivia Challenge

Stack sponsored his seventh annual African American History Trivia Challenge in honor of Black History month. The challenge began on Sunday, February 8th and ended on Sunday, March 1st.

Each Sunday evening in February, five Black History trivia questions were posted on Stack’s website.  Fans submitted answers to the trivia questions all day from the time they were posted until each Sunday before noon.

Congrats to Devena McLaurine, Janice Ford and Jalen Banks for answering all the questions correctly and winning each week's drawing to receive an item autographed by Stack.

Stackhouse began the trivia contest seven years ago to educate people about black history. He was an African American Studies major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Stackhouse was the first Tar Heel basketball player to leave UNC after completing only his sophomore year to join the NBA.  He continued his studies toward his bachelor’s degree through summer classes and graduated on December 18, 1999, during his fifth season in the NBA.
